July

We have had a busy July.  We spent the first few days covering two states with visits to the lake of both sides of family.  The kids had a great time. Miss M and Miss C were able to intertube behind the boat.  Both had fun and declared they would do it again.

My swimmers. Miss C is now in Level 5 (learning the back stroke/crawl and wanting to be in Level 6) and Miss M is in Level 7 (learning the butterfly).

Mr M has moved into being a "little" kid. He loves to play...play...play.

We also were lucky enough to be able to have Auntie JoDee and the two hockey boys here for about ten days.   It was fun to have them and we enjoyed every minute of the time before they left the frigid North for their arid heat for the school year.

Celbrating Big B's 8th birthday.  We have been so lucky to be able to celebrate every birthday with him!

All the cousins minus 1.

Other than traveling and visitors we have been enjoying the warm summer.  The girls are finishing up their last week of swimming lessons for the summer.  In addition to wrapping up swimming lessons, the girls have been getting ready for school to start (YAY! Two in school), practicing riding their bikes, and are the best of buds.  Mr M is enthralled with anything wheels.  He yells anytime he see a "BIG TRUCK" or a "BUS" in the car.  He also declares that we have to go on a car ride at least once a day.

Two wrap up the July post here are some pics from hanging out on the deck taken today.

May Pictures

Well it has been a little busy the month of May but I am going to get in a second post even with a two week unexpected stay away from home.  School is out and we are adjusting to a summer schedule. The girls are lucky to get to hang out at home a couple more days a week. Mr M is doing the same routine.

Last week we celebrated Miss C's birthday. Miss C was super excited for her special day and we celebrated by having dinner and dirt cake. She also was spoiled and got to do her 5 year old photo shoot on her birthday.

Her request for her birthday was dirt cake with worms. She ate mainly the gummy worms.

The Big 5 photoshoot

Look back at the first photoshoot of Miss C. She might have a calling to follow her favorite photographer (you all know who that is) behind the camera.

Miss C had to pose with new stuff for her birthday. She had a fabulous day.
The girls got to experience wedding fun when Uncle J. to his beautiful bride K. They had an amazing time and would have danced all night. After the wedding they have been playing Bride K.

Last but not least we have a reader in our house. Miss M loves to read to Mr M.

Grammy made a bunny cake. It was yummy.

Easter Miss M

This year Miss M was so excited for the entire weekend. It was so special to see her truly excited for every small thing. I think this age is something that I wish I could capture and keep forever.

January

Well, I said that I was going to work on being better on posting on the blog.  I have taken more pictures this month but sometimes I just don't get to posting them.

January has been cold on Mulberry.  Really Cold!  The kids have been a little stir crazy with the cold weather but with the plethora of new toys and activities they got at Christmas they are hold their own.

Mr M. is definitely turning into his own little "man." He loves to play with cars and climb. Two things that are new to our household with a male toddler. He also tries to keep up with the girls as much as he can.
Miss C with mom's Raggedy Ann Doll.  I brought this home to our house after one of our trips west this fall.  Raggedy Ann has become a regular staple at the tea parties that occur on a regular basis in their room.
 C. posing with her new hair cut. She wanted it a little shorter but it has decreased the screaming when hair brushing occurs each morning.
Miss M. posing with Raggedy Ann. I am so happy that they enjoy her as much as I did.
 M. posing with her new hair cut.  She has started picking out her new outfits everyday. Some days the outfits are interesting but she is always so proud of what she picks out.
 M. showing off how proud he is when he climbs on things.
Little man not overly impressed with taking pictures.

All three kids posing.  This was definitely a challenge to do as Mr M. did not want to sit that close to both of his sisters.

Mike has a little bit of curls. I am having a hard time getting his first hair cut as I will be sad to see the curls disappear.

Michael looks cute in his favorite hockey jersey! His cousin Brandon has shared two jersey's with him. Lucky boy.
Happy 2011. I am hoping that I am able to post more this year.  It has been a little busy on Mulberry. We made a road trip west for the holidays. The kids traveled great and we all had great fun with family.

Here are some pictures of Mr Michael.  I think he has changed so much the past few weeks. He is a great little guy!

Michael with his new pj's. Thank you Papa Jerry!

Michael's new buddy, cabbage patch, who used to be his daddy's cabbage patch when he was little.
