March!

Well, it has been a busy month of March and I am proud to say that I made it before the end of the month with a new post.  The month was busy with a trip to Fargo to watch hockey with cousins, the arrival of spring, swimming lessons, and kindergarten registration for Megan.  Claire and Megan both did a session of swimming lessons since my last post and loved it.  We will go back to swimming lessons in May and June but until my semester slows down for work and school the after-school activities are somewhat limited.

Here are some pics of the last weekend.

Michael is changing more every day.  He started walking the end of February.  At first he still preferred to crawl but now he definitely prefers to walk.  Soon, I think he will be running after his sisters.  He also has figured out how to open all the doors in the house and take off the child-proof clips that are on our kitchen cupboards.  He definitely is a busy boy.  He also finally has a mouthful of teeth.  We took a picture of him this weekend with him lying upside down off my knees so we could get a picture of his 6 teeth.  Several things he loves to find and carry all over the house are the remote controls for the TV and cable box along with any hairbrush that he can get his hands-on.

This last weekend we had great weather on Sunday. We have been able to spend some time in the backyard and the swings are finally on the swing set.  Megan went for her first bike-ride on Sunday.  Claire hasn't gotten her bike down yet but seems to remind me everyday that "I owe her a bike-ride" on a daily basis.  The last two pictures are from Sunday.  We had Michael out on the deck in his 'cage' and he enjoyed being outside and watching all the happenings of a beautiful spring day.

Great post Janna - I love the pic of Mark reading with the kids sitting around like angels. It is so suburban! Thanks for the peak into your life. :)
